Notes:

You need WinRAR to extract some of the files, so make sure you have it installed.

Before you begin the installation, you need to slipstream the SATA AHCI drivers (only ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller) with nLite. The instructions on how to do it are here.

Please note that you’ll see a black screen for about 1-2 minutes while the Windows XP setup files are loading. This is probably an issue with the new 16:9 displays.

Audio and Modem driver must be installed using Device Manager, by manually specifying the location of the of the driver’s INF file and forcing it to install, although XP will give you a warning that you are not using the correct drivers.

If you have Unknown Devices (buttons drivers) » here (Installation –> right click machine.inf, choose install)

For all of you who want to downgrade from Windows 7 or Windows Vista and install Windows XP on your Toshiba Satellite L300-110 laptop, I made a driver pack which work perfectly on this operating system.

The package contains all the nessesary drivers:

It has many other flavors:

Cannot delete file: Access is denied

There has been a sharing violation.

The source or destination file may be in use.

The file is in use by another program or user.

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

The solution to your problems is Unlocker – free and easy to use utility which allows you to delete and rename files that have been locked by some application or the operating system.
