If your LCD screen has a stuck or dead pixel (a point on the screen that is always lit or always dark), it is usually due to a transistor malfunction or uneven distribution of liquid in the liquid crystal display (TFT LCD). This can often be fixed.
Generally, there are three methods for fixing stuck pixels:
- Software Method, which includes running software to re-energize the pixels by rapidly turning them on and off. Some of the most popular software for repairing stuck pixels are: JScreenFix and UDPixel.
- Pressure Method, which includes turning the monitor off, applying pressure on the place where the stuck pixel occurs, and then turning it back on.
- Tapping Method, which includes displaying a black image on the monitor and tapping the place where the stuck pixel occurs.
The software method is considered to be safer, so you should try it first. The pressure/tapping methods are less safe and they can damage the monitor even more, so you should be very careful when performing them.

Only the pressure and tapping methods worked for me. The software was useless.

Try using PixelTuneup. It corrects stuck pixels, image retention, and burn in. Also improves color and contrast.
